What is a Stovetop Tandoori Roti ?
It’s an extremely popular Indian bread/roti made using whole wheat flour and cooked in a tandoor (clay oven). My version is an easier way to make the same delicious roti over the stovetop or using induction. These roti’s are thick, always served with ghee/butter on top.
What is the Difference between Naan & Tandoori Roti?
Naan is made using all-purpose flour (also called maida in Hindi). Tandoori Roti is mostly made using whole wheat or a mix of whole wheat + 1-2tbsp of flour.
