WHAT IS SHAHI PANEER CAPSICUM ?
It’s a creamy, flavorful and delicious paneer recipe that’s served in thick luscious cream gravy. Hence, full of XTRAAA Calories. The gravy/sauce in this dish is rich and thick, made using pure white butter/ fresh cream along with the BEST EVER Pairing of paneer+capsicum It’s served on special occasions where you want something different from everyday dishes. But my Shahi Paneer Capsicum recipe is made light (keeping the same flavors), so you can enjoy it much often or in large quantity without worrying about extra calories.
How to Serve this Paneer Dish:
So here you go, make sure you serve it warm and it tastes great with any sides of choice from Indian Naan/Roti, Bread, Rice, Quinoa, Couscous, etc. Just about anything that you like to pair it with.

1 Large nonstick wok with cover/lid 1 Large Serving Dish/Plate 1 Small bowl – for whisking cream
SHAHI PANEER CAPSICUM INGREDIENTS :
1 Cup Paneer (Cottage Cheese) – Cut into bite-size cubes 2 Medium Capsicum (Green Bell Pepper) – chopped into bite-size pieces 2 Medium Onions – chopped into bite-size pieces 4 Tbsp Tomato Paste – you may use fresh tomato puree 2 Tbsp Tomato Ketchup 1 Tsp Ginger Paste 1 Tsp Garlic Paste 2 Tbsp Ginger Julienne 2 Tsp Butter – You may use salted or unsalted butter as per availability 3 Tbsp Olive Oil 4 Tbsp Yogurt 2 Tbsp Cream Cheese(room temperature) – You may use fresh plain cream ½ Cup water
Spices:
½ Tsp Turmeric 1 Tbsp Coriander Powder 1 Tbsp Cumin Powder ½ Tbsp Garam Masala 1 Tbsp Dry Fenugreek Leaves 2 Tsp Red Chili Powder 2 Tsp Salt (As per your taste)
HOW TO MAKE SHAHI PANEER CAPSICUM
Prep: In a small bowl, whisk yogurt+cream cheese to form a smooth paste. Keep aside.
