I love soups, and soups are regular in our household, irrespective of the season. This wild rice and mushroom soup is our recent favorite, and I can see myself making it, over and over, this season. I love adding carbs like noodles or rice to my soup. Ingredients and Substitutions for Vegan Paella Vegan Paella Broth Dried kelp: Substitute with some dried mushrooms and/or soy sauce for that signature funky salty umami kick. Aromatics: Sage and bay leaves give the paella broth an earthiness. Saffron: Saffron lends a very subtle sweet earthy flavor. I don’t cook separately for kiddo so I scaled down the spice level for this recipe. (Poor kiddo had only tofu from the red curry). Coming back to the El-dorodo Restaurant, vaandu had his first tofu there and also he learnt how to use fork. I think he was around 30 months and we gave him the fried tofu and a plastic spoon. He spent entire 1 hr in breaking the tofu into pieces with his fork and but ate the pieces with his hands....

A Sweet Twist on the Classic My newly improved white chocolate brownies are the lighter and sweeter counterparts to traditional dark and fudgy versions (like my well-loved brownies from scratch).
