This Duck Taco with Spicy Orange-Cherry Salsa recipe is a great mix of fresh ingredients along with our West Coast flavors. LA VICTORIA® Brand (which makes salsas and sauces inspired by the bold and unique Mexican-inspired foods) has completed 100 years. Hence, they are hosting a dinner event to celebrate the occasion with music, food, and artwork. Now, West Coast is famous for its variety of cuisines/flavors and Mexican flavors definitely top the list. So, here I’m participating in those celebrations and creating these ‘local San Francisco chef inspired’ creation using the LA VICTORIA® Cilantro Salsa and Fire Roasted Whole Green Chillies. Now, Mexican food is definitely one of my all time favorite cuisine and the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of Mexican food, are colorful and fresh ingredients. Also, most of the recipes are quick, delicious and bursting with flavors. Hence, these Duck Taco with Spicy Orange-Cherry Salsa is a perfect recipe for the occasion as it combines both San Francisco flavors and LA VICTORIA® products.

Now, if you don’t eat ‘duck’ you can replace it with chicken, turkey or any other meat of choice. Also, I absolutely love this Spicy Orange-Cherry Salsa and would highly recommend that you try it as it’s so flavorful and made using simple summer ingredients. The green chili adds that much-needed kick to the sweet oranges and cherry.

    ! Orange Cherry Salsa: Combine all ingredients in a bowl, mix and keep aside. ! Mexican Marinade: Combine all ingredients in a bowl, mix and keep aside. ! Avocado Mousse: In a bowl, mash the avocado along with all ingredient and form a paste like consistency. ! ASSEMBLE THE TACO:  Add Mexican Marinate to Spicy Orange-Cherry Salsa and mix. Take a tortilla and spear 1tsp avocado mousse in the middle of it. Place few strings of duck sliced duck meat. Top with spicy orange-cherry salsa. Top with Cilantro Salsa and fresh cilantro leaves. Serve Fresh.
