Horse Gram Adai Kollu Adai Dosai

After ghavan, the next recipe in my dosa series is the horse gram adai, or as we say in Tamil kollu adai. Adai is a thick savory pancake prepared with lentils and rice. I have shared the regular adai recipe, and here is another one with horsegram or kollu. I have added some spinach and shallots to make it more healthy and spiced it up with green chilies. It’s a delicious adai, and you can relish it with honey or jaggery or with ghee....

How To Make Delicious Chilli Garlic Noodles

Inspiration for Chilli Garlic Noodles: India’s favourite cuisine (Indo-Chinese) Indian-Chinese food dates back to the 1700s when the Hakka traders from China settled in Calcutta – the then capital of British India. Kolkata, or Calcutta was one of the first cities in India to start an Indo-Chinese restaurant. Chinese immigrants who moved to India for work opportunities started cooking their food. Instant Pot Moringa Rasam Murungai Rasam Mulligatawny Soup

Relish it as a soup or enjoy it with rice for a comforting meal. Food Research- I love to read about the history of food, and I love to research the roots. This mulligatawny soup was on my list for a very long time. It’s quite popular in Indian restaurants in the US, and they serve with papad/appalam. It tastes more like cumin-pepper rasam, and I always wondered why they were named mulligatawny soup instead of calling it as rasam....
