Aloo Paratha Stuffed Aloo Paratha Recipe

I am back with another potato recipe and a paratha recipe right after the batata nu shaak and cheese paratha. Seriously I can’t get enough of potatoes and parathas. I am sure everyone will agree to it. Ok, now let’s talk about this famous aloo paratha, aka potato stuffed paratha. In my opinion, paratha is synonymous to aloo paratha, right? Yes, there are different parathas, but I always conjure aloo paratha when we say the word paratha....

Angel Food Cake

Angel Food Cake The sweet, snow-white nemesis to my Devil’s food cake, this meringue-based beauty of an angel food cake is everything that dark and decadent cake isn’t. It’s light, fluffy, so airy and delicately vanilla flavored (with a hint of almond!). It’s also my favorite recipe on the blog, and while it does require a bit of technique, I’m confident you can tackle this one. Once you do, you’ll never go back to store-bought or the kind that comes from a box!...

Arugula Pesto Recipe Nut Free Recipe

The bold flavor it brings is such an asset in so many recipes. Toss a pile on top of pizza, serve it with a baked chimichanga, stir it into soup or pasta sauce, or of course, make a killer salad with it!...

Baked Ziti Recipe

This is a great, comforting dinner option and tastes great served with a side salad (I like serving it with broccoli salad or caprese salad) and a warm homemade biscuit. Today’s recipe includes a how-to video. I swore over the weekend that it was going to be nothing but spinach salads and lean protein for me from then on out. The weather in Florida was 75 degrees and sunny and it was easy to promise myself a future of leafy green dinners....

Chilli Parotta Recipe Kothu Parotta Cookshideout

My homemade version is lower in calories than the original version but is equally delicious. Also I make it with egg to add some protein, but you can skip it and make it completely plant based. About the recipe I love recreating traditional street food recipes at home. My versions are much healthier and I know exactly what ingredients are in the dish. Here’s a classic South Indian street food recipe that is popular in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka....

Churme Ka Laddu Recipe

Since I try to minimize our ghee consumption, I found this healthier version of the laddoos on Sanjeeta’s blog and used her tip to bake the dough instead of deep frying. I used a little more ghee than the original recipe and the resultant laddoos are delicious with a melt in your mouth texture. The powdery version of the laddoos aka churma is eaten along with dal baatis. My palette is not very used to the sweet and savory combination, but I really enjoyed the bal-baati-churma combo a lot....
